April 12: Awakening

Picture Spring: Today's prompt was to capture new life; something that is just waking up with the warmth of the season. I really didn't think I was going to find something for this. I walked through Victoria Park at lunch time and found nothing. After work, I looked in our back yard, and guess what? We have weeds coming up already! Boo. That's not something I want to have a picture of. Was I ever happy to discover that our neighbour's tree has buds on it!
