On December 1, I went to a Stampin' Up! Christmas Card stamp camp where we each made 20 cards. Several weeks ago, our wonderful demonstrator, Teresa, sent a photo of six designs for us to choose from. You choose as many designs as you want and then Teresa precuts everything and essentially gives each person a customized kit to work from. She's awesome! I love stamping and making cards but have found it increasingly difficult to fit this hobby into my life, so this is definitely the way to go for me. No thinking required, and the time commitment is much less than if I had to do all the work myself. This year, I purposely selected only two designs and two of the simpler ones, so I could accomplish as much as possible in a short time-frame. I was at the stamp camp for three hours and then finished up at home in about 30 minutes. I'm very pleased to have these pretty cards ready for this Christmas season! I could have picked up some cards at the store to save time, but I enjoy making cards so much, I'm glad I had this opportunity. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon.
Can you believe my photo-a-day project is almost over? Only one month to go and what a sweet month for the home stretch -- Christmas should offer plenty of easy photo opportunities!
